Roland Dickey Jr. is the CEO of AT&T, one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies. He has been with AT&T for 36 years and in his current role since 2008. Roland Dickey Jr shares how he learned from failure that “you have to be resilient.” He also discusses how he delivers feedback to his team, why being authentic is important to him, and how everyone needs an A-player mentality. Roland Dickey Jr. is the chief executive officer of AT&T, one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies. He has been with AT&T for 36 years and in his current role since 2008. Roland shares how he learned from failure that “you have to be resilient.” He also discusses how he delivers feedback to his team, why being authentic is important to him, and how everyone needs an A-player mentality.

Roland believes that the biggest opportunities are born out of adversity. Before AT&T, Roland was president and chief operating officer for BellSouth, where he directed all revenue growth initiatives for the company. He also spent three years in London leading the international wholesale businesses at British Telecom.

Prior to BT, Roland held senior management positions at Southwestern Bell, including a chief operating officer of the nationwide region and president of Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Earlier in his career, he held sales and marketing leadership positions, including vice president of national accounts for Southwestern Bell’s largest customer division.

Roland Dickey Jr Net Worth holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and a bachelor of science degree with honors from the University of Missouri at St. Louis.

A decorated Vietnam veteran, Roland was awarded two Bronze Stars for his service as a helicopter pilot with the U.S. Army 1st Infantry Division. He served in active duty for more than five years and then served in the Army Reserve until 1980. Go here for related information.
